Self-Harm Project

Summary of project:

Healthwatch Medway and Healthwatch Kent has identified through Public Health and Health and Care Partnership that there has been a dramatic and alarming increase in young people self-harming and higher demand on mental health services for 10-25 year old age group. As such, Healthwatch Medway and Healthwatch Kent is seeking to gather views of professionals working with young people in Medway and Swale who may self-harm or are at risk of self-harm, to support Medway Public Health and Health and Care Partnership to tailor service provision to meet young people needs in Medway and Swale.
